While traveling alone across the U.S. as a young woman from abroad, my phone suddenly stopped working. My flight tickets, maps, digital wallet, and practically everything I needed to continue my journey were on it, and I had no idea what to do.
Then I walked into this shop and met Rochelle. At first, she wasn’t quite sure what I was asking, but as soon as she understood my situation, she immediately started helping me. She spent more than half an hour trying to fix my phone, called a friend for additional guidance, and refused to let me leave until she was completely sure it was working properly.
I feel incredibly lucky that I happened to walk into the shop where Rochelle was working. She was truly an angel when I needed one most. It is one thing to have a great employee, but it is something truly special to have an employee with a heart of gold.
